Branding

 During this assignment we learned how to create a portfolio, but before we create a portfolio, we had to create our own brand names  for our portfolio. First off we started to draw 10 sketches of our brand names in order to create the electronic roughs we had to create in the near future. We had to then select 5 different sketches we liked in order to use Adobe Illustrator to create 5 electronic roughs of our drawn sketches. I chose 5 different logo names to create in adobe illustrator to have for my portfolio. I used the pen tool mostly and the line segment tool in order to create the designs and in order to make it neat and cool at the same time. Doing this project was challenging but fun at the same time. After that process we did a presentation covering which logo was the best in order to refine it. So we created 15 logos that have been refined from the original logo that was best voted on. Overall, it was a fun experience of creating these different types of logos.

The layout of the design look cool since it shows the colorful graphics and the nice graffiti look of most fonts in the designs. The shapes of the designs determine the moodiness and activeness of most designs. As I start my senior year, I have many goals to look forward to in order to graduate this year. I plan to also stay motivated and focused during this year by paying attention and to try to not to get distracted when the teacher is teaching something new. Other goals I have is to also turn in my assignments on time since last year I've turned most of my assignments a little late than the due date and its something I want to improve on. I will be maintaining focus on graduating and making my family proud during the end of this school year. But for that, I have to keep learning and keep following instructions from the teachers in order to accomplish that goal. In the near future I will need to find a job and in order to see and experience that I can complete all 100 community service hours in order to have the experience in working for the city. I hope to have a good 2 semesters and whole senior year and will look forward to what waits for me in the near future. For now I will just st...
