 Gun violence has really interested me because Gun-related violence is violence committed with the use of a firearm. Gun-related violence may or may not be considered criminal. Criminal violence includes homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, and suicide, or attempted suicide, depending on jurisdiction. During the 1980s and early 1990s, homicide rates surged in cities across the United States. Handgun homicides accounted for nearly all of the overall increase in the homicide rate, from 1985 to 1993, while homicide rates involving other weapons declined during that time frame. This can cause mental health effects which can include depression, anxiety, trauma, post traumatic stress disorder, intrusive thoughts, sleep problems, and personality changes.

The Art of Data Visualization Every single pixel should testify directly to the content. Data is just a clue to the end truth. We're dealing with data systems that are larger than anything. One lesson I've learned from watching the video is that data visualization is another form of visual art that grabs our interest and keeps our eyes on the message. When we see a chart, we quickly see trends and outliers. If we can see something, we internalize it quickly. These visual displays of information communicate complex data relationships and data-driven insights in a way that is easy to understand. Channels are the platforms or vehicles that you use to reach your audience, such as websites, social media, email, print, or events. Editorial design encompasses the design systems used to tell stories for magazines, websites, newspapers, and more. A format refers to the way that digital information is organized and presented.
